SAIL Outdoors Inc. launches reSAIL with Loyalty Program Focus

SAIL Outdoors, a leading Canadian retailer that sells outdoor clothing and equipment, has launched reSAIL, an online platform for the resale of second-hand products for outdoor enthusiasts. reSAIL provides customers with a customized marketplace for shopping and reselling second-hand clothing, footwear and equipment from a variety of brands. The retailer plans to expand on the program with an in-store take-back service in the near future.

ABOUT reSAIL

reSAIL was created to give neglected products new adventures, and to provide SAIL customers with an opportunity to get the best outfits at affordable prices, while limiting waste. This popular multi-brand Canadian retailer sells a variety of products including clothing, footwear, bags, and camping equipment from brands like The North Face, Osprey, Columbia, and Helly Hansen. To ensure the best user experience and simplify the process for sellers, the seller flow dictates a curated list of brands and outdoor products authorized for resale.

Additionally, reSAIL’s blog is filled with valuable tips and tricks for maintaining and extending the lifespan of products. Consumers can access guidance on identifying and purchasing quality clothing, proper washing techniques, ideal storage conditions, and how to extend the lifespan of their purchases.

EXPLORE+ LOYALTY PROGRAM INTEGRATION

Archive's flexible technology made it possible for SAIL to seamlessly integrate their loyalty program into reSAIL. A custom page on the reSAIL site enabled Explore+ members to gain exclusive access to the site prior to the general public. In addition, when loyalty members sell on reSAIL, they have the option to receive 110% of the purchase price in store credit. This incentive is great for building brand loyalty, in addition to encouraging customers to join the Explore+ program.
